To participate it is compulsory to have a project in concept, in development or in production, being accepted: feature films and animation series. Short films projects with potential to become a feature film or a series may also be considered. Each participant can only present one project.
The selected participants could obtain their vacancy at Bridging the Gap 2017 through one of the three following ways:
A. Paying the registration costs: 1.500 euros. This includes course, accommodation and meals during the days of the training (the travel to Tenerife has to be afforded by the participant). Applicable to all nationalities.
B. Through one of four scholarships of this BTG call, to which the candidate could be chosen if he/she is from one of the following countries:
Latin America & Caribbean: Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru and Dominican Republic.
North of Africa & Middle East: Mauritania, Morocco, Western Sahara and Palestinian Territories.
Sub-Saharan Africa: Mali, Niger, Senegal, Ethiopia, Equatorial Guinea and Mozambique.
These scholarships include course, accommodation and meals during the days of the training (not including transport, travel insurance and visa management) and additional the flight to Tenerife.
C. Through a BTG scholarship of this BTG call for the other nationalities. It includes the course, the accommodation, meals and the flight to Tenerife.
D. Through other types of aids which will be given by other collaborating institutions. The conditions of these as well as the recipient countries will be communicated in the near future on the official website of Bridging the Gap. For the moment we can confirm the following aid:
-Course for two participants from Tenerife
-3D Wire: course for a Spanish participant.
